Christmas Service…
Man, service was off the chain. The youth choir tore up the service. Everyone was clapping and rocking with us. Evg. Genevie Meyer, one of the associate ministers of the church did a sermonette after the youth choir sung.The combined choir sung well, too. They weren’t as good as the youth, but they were good. Eld. Lowell Knox, the director of the Family Care Ministries preached the main sermon. He preached for 25 minutes or so. His title was “This Is Your Gift.” He talked about how Jesus was the greatest gift anyone could ever get. He tore it up. Eld. Pacheco let me play for Eld. Knox. While Eld. Knox was tuned up, he looked at me and said, “Boy, you are gonna make me wanna preach playing like that.” Service was so cool.
We got out of church at 12:22 pm.
